to Serve Team Leader |
| Team Leaders must be at least a high school senior in fall 2006 and have completed one or more Sent to Serve experiences. Applicants who are 18 and older are required to have a diocesan background check. Team Leader responsibilities will include assisting the outreach coordinator with booklet preparation and providing feedback on service locations and group activities; greet and be a welcoming presence for participants; assist with the daily flow of activities and encourage group adherence to scheduled activities; be a mentor and positive role model for participants; assist at commissioning and other tasks as mutually agreed upon. Team Leaders are required to arrive two hours before the start of Sent to Serve for orientation and to welcome and assist participants as they arrive. The Presentation Sisters and vocation/outreach staff are responsible for all aspects of the program including transportation and the supervision of the participants. The deadline to apply is May 1, 2006. There is no fee to apply. |
