Leadership Camp

The Aberdeen Presentation Sisters created Leadership Camp in 1996. This Christian camp for junior high girls entering 7th, 8th and 9th grades blends fun, spirituality and personal growth for an excellent summer experience.

The 12th annual camp was held in the Black Hills, S.D., from July 23-27, 2007.

Leadership Camp brochures have been distributed and LEADERSHIP CAMP IS FULL. If you would like to be added to the mailing list for camp 2008, please e-mail Karla Newman.

For individuals who are not eligible to be a camper (currently 9th grade and older), please check out our Sent to Serve volunteer experiences.

Leadership Camp Junior Counselors
Young women who will be at least a high school senior in fall 2007 may apply to be a junior counselor at camp. Click here to see a junior counselor job description. Counselors arrive at camp for orientation and training on July 22, 2007, at 4 p.m. M.S.T. The application process for 2007 camp counselors has been completed.
If you have attended Sent to Serve and/or other activities sponsored by the Presentation Sisters, it will be taken into consideration when you apply to be a junior counselor.
